The North Dallas Investment Group is an organization of angel investors based in Dallas, Texas. The investment organization was established due to an impending need for a capital resource for developing companies in the area. It is co-founded and managed by the Chapman, Hext & Co., P.C., a company that provides professional accounting and tax services. North Dallas Investment Group is a member of the Angel Capital Association, the largest alliance of angel investment organizations in North America.

Currently, North Dallas Investment Group has about ninety accredited investor members. Membership is continuously increasing because of the excellent investment opportunities available. An average of four business presentations are reviewed and evaluated by the members every month. Investments are made through the individual commitment of each member investors and not through a single base fund. Accredited investors who are interested to participate in investment activities within the Texas region are encouraged to join as members of the North Dallas Investment Group. Membership application inquiries can be done through accomplishing an online contact form that is available on the investment group's website or by directly contacting the Chapman, Hext & Co., P.C.

The North Dallas Investment Group searches for companies that are in need of funding worth $2 million or below. Interested companies should accomplish an online questionnaire, which can be accessed through the investment group's website. Funding applicants should also submit a copy of their business plan or executive summary to Ms. Mary Ann Sawoski through electronic or postal mail. Business plans should include vital points such as a formulated business concept, technological aspect, a competitive management team that is highly qualified to execute the business plan, and a viable exit strategy. All applications are screened by a committee to determine the most qualified companies that will advance to the business presentation screening stage. Only two to four companies are selected every month for business presentation. The negotiation of terms and final investment decisions are made after the business presentation. The investment group generally holds business presentations during its regular breakfast or lunch meetings that are also open to guests. Those who are interested to attend the investment group's monthly meetings should sign-up through an online registration form available on the North Dallas Investment Group website.
